The Louisiana Producer A.I. School hosts approximately 15 cattle producers for each of its three-day Louisiana Producer A.I. School. Each day typically consists of 2-3 hours in the classroom followed by 2-3 hours of practice with cows. To successfully pass the course, producers must have 100% attendance for the course, a minimum of 70% correct on a written exam, pass the A.I. gun three times, in three different cows within 45 minutes during the examination time of the course, and display proper semen handling and thawing techniques.
There is an extensive waitlist for this enrollment into this course. If you are interested in this program, please contact Ashley Edwards at akedwards@agcenter.lsu.edu to be placed on the interest list.
